An Introduction

If you're reading this blog right now, it is most likely because you were blessed with common sense and have not fallen prey to the woke culture we are trapped in right now. You, like many Americans, are exhausted with concepts like political correctness, social justice, cancel culture, and other left-wing nonsense that we hear all over our various social media. If this sounds like you, I hope you will read my thought-provoking content and perhaps leave a comment. If it doesn't, I don't know why you'd be reading a conservative blog, but you could try mine for a start.

Allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Evan Reed, and I am a college student majoring in history and minoring in political science. I am also a proud Christian, an American, and, most importantly (for this blog), a Generation Z conservative.

Ever since I was around 12 or 13, I have had an interest in politics. One of my fondest and proudest young political moments was staying up on November 8th, 2017 to watch Donald Trump get elected president. The next day, as I watched many people I went to school with gnashing their teeth and crying over the loss of Hillary Clinton, I knew I was proud to be a Republican. Some people start out as Democrats and have an "epiphany moment" where they become Republicans, but I knew that day I was committed to upholding the Christian and American values I grew up with.

I am relatively new to this blogging experience, so I apologize if it does not look sophisticated at first. My goal is to post something once per day, Monday through Friday. On here, I plan to tackle a myriad of issues relating to culture and society. I do feel obligated to say that this is a blog that tackles sensitive issues, and therefore I will likely have an opinion that does not agree with the current culture. If you are offended by something I say, I would urge you to allow yourself to be offended, as you may learn something. Essentially, if you are woke, politically correct, socialist, liberal, or align with the Democratic Party with more than about 50% of issues, this may not be for you.

However, I am looking forward to talking about these various issues and trying to make sense of the liberal insanity America is dealing with.

Until Next Time
