Does Generation Z Hate America?

So you might read the title of this post and say something "what? of course not, how could you say such a thing". Now, while this might be somewhat of an exaggeration, there is a notable difference in opinion towards the feeling of patriotism in America. I believe that the current generation does not place nearly as much importance in fulfilling their civic duty as an American, or outwardly displaying their pride in being an American, as say a member of generation Z.  As an example, I recently attended a meeting for election workers, the people that work at the polling places on election day, as I felt it was my civic duty to at least be informed about one way I could serve my country. As I thought, I was the only person who was under the age of retirement. And while it is completely understandable, that people my age work during the day or attend classes as I do as well, but many schools and employers understand that civic duty is also important, and usually allow time off f...

Are Musicians Politicians Now?

For decades, music artists have been an integral part of American culture; they have influenced countless cultural movements, trends, and fashions. But I have never heard of a music artist influencing an election. One artist in particular is using her popularity among the masses to endorse a candidate for the upcoming 2024 election. It has been reported that the singer-songwriter has unsurprisingly endorsed the incumbent president, Joe Biden. This should surprise...

An Introduction

If you're reading this blog right now, it is most likely because you were blessed with common sense and have not fallen prey to the woke culture we are trapped in right now. You, like many Americans, are exhausted with concepts like political correctness, social justice, cancel culture, and other left-wing nonsense that we hear all over our various social media. If this sounds like you, I hope you will read my thought-provoking content and perhaps leave a comment. If it doesn't, I don't know why you'd be reading a conservative blog, but you could try mine for a start.  Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Evan Reed, and I am a college student majoring in history and minoring in political science. I am also a proud Christian, an American, and, most importantly (for this blog), a Generation Z conservative.  Ever since I was around 12 or 13, I have had an interest in politics. One of my fondest and proudest young political moments was staying up on November 8th, 2017 t...
